Train531 Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Train531 mobile application (“the App”) developed by Aaron Hampton (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the App

Train531 is a strength training application that provides workout programming based on the 5/3/1 methodology with AI-powered coaching features. You may use the App for personal, non-commercial fitness tracking purposes.

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App to develop a competing product
  • Attempt to circumvent subscription or trial limitations
  • Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws

2. Accounts and Device Registration

The App does not require a traditional account. A unique device identifier is generated on first use to manage your trial and subscription status. This identifier is stored in your device’s keychain and is not linked to your personal identity.

3. Free Trial

New users receive 10 complimentary workout sessions. There is no time limit on the free trial — it is based solely on the number of completed workouts. No credit card or payment information is required to begin the trial.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

After the free trial, continued access to AI-powered features requires a paid subscription:

  • Monthly: $4.99 per month
  • Yearly: $34.99 per year

Subscriptions are billed through Apple’s App Store and are subject to Apple’s terms and conditions for in-app purchases. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

To cancel, go to your device’s Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > Train531.

5. AI Coaching Features

The App uses artificial intelligence to prescribe supplemental exercises and provide training analysis. AI-generated recommendations are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional medical, fitness, or health advice.

You acknowledge that:

  • AI recommendations may not be suitable for all individuals
  • You should consult a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any exercise program
  • We are not responsible for injuries resulting from following AI-generated workout prescriptions
  • AI outputs may occasionally contain errors or suboptimal recommendations

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, content, and AI models, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal purposes.

The 5/3/1 methodology referenced in the App was created by Jim Wendler. Train531 is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Jim Wendler or any related entities.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

  • The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
  • AI-generated recommendations will be accurate or appropriate for your circumstances
  • Results from using the App will meet your expectations

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your use of or inability to use the App
  • Any AI-generated content or recommendations
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Any other matter relating to the App

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aaron Hampton from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted within the App or on our website at train531.com/terms. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
